Have you ever felt judged for not having the right body shape? Too fat? Too thin?
Never exercise? Our photo-shopped world is not always kind. Diana and her boys sing, dance and tell stories about self-confidence, body image, and society’s unreasonably high expectations on our appearance, sharing personal stories and daring each other to reveal more and more of themselves. As they explore their bodies they discover 101 ways to look fabulous.
With a strong cast who act, sing and dance, Boys in the Buff explores body image and how we interact in modern society. An inspirational evening of musical comedy celebrating bodies of all shapes and sizes!
Script and songs are written by Chris Burgess, a prolific writer for theatre, TV and radio. Boys in the Buff, directed by Robbie O’Reilly, who in addition to extensive performing credits in original London and European theatre casts of shows such as Chicago, Cabaret and the RNT’s Anything Goes has choreographed many critically acclaimed London shows.
LAMBCO a prolific fringe theatre production company, is proud to bring this Christmas spectacular to the Golden Goose.
