LAMBCO is producing a ‘try-out’ / rehearsed reading of a new musical called ‘DUET‘.
This special performance is at the Drayton Arms Theatre, Kensington on Monday 3rd April at 7.30p.m.
It stars LAUREN WARD (‘Evan Hansen’ and ‘Caroline or Change’) and
EDWARD BAKER-DULY (‘Bridges of Madison County’ and ‘The Grinch’) and
written by CHRIS BURGESS.
The show which is yes, full of duets – is about love, mortality and loss.
“The cost of love is loss….”
It covers twenty five years in the lives of a couple who have been through the mill and have a deep understanding of what it is to be in a relationship that has lasted a long time. They find themselves dealing with the ultimate crisis, when one of the partners dies and leaves their spouse to grapple with the overwhelming memories.. and face an equally overwhelming future.
The show is M.D’d by Steve Edis and has arrangements by Tony Award winning Sarah Travis.
